Connect GitLab to let Sidecar read accessible repositories and deliver Agent Console branches and merge requests.

Before you start

You need an Account Admin role in Sidecar and a GitLab account with access to the target repositories. Sidecar supports gitlab.com. Self-managed GitLab instances are not supported by this integration.

Connect GitLab

1

Open GitLab in Integrations

In Sidecar, select Integrations, then open GitLab.
Disconnected GitLab integration with Connect GitLab with OAuth button

Start the GitLab OAuth flow from the disconnected integration page.

2

Authorize Sidecar

Click Connect GitLab with OAuth. Review the requested access in GitLab and authorize Sidecar.
3

Return to Sidecar

Sidecar completes verification and displays the connected GitLab identity.
To refresh the authorization later, click Reconnect GitLab.

Verify Agent Console access

Open an agent’s Settings page and check Scope → Repositories. See Connect repositories for job-scope behavior.
