Give Agent Console access to repositories through GitHub or GitLab
Agent Console gets repository access from your source-control integration. Connect the provider once, then choose all repositories or a subset when you create a job.Choose your provider:
Connect GitHub
Install and configure the Sidecar Data GitHub app.
Connect GitLab
Authorize Sidecar through GitLab OAuth.
Agent Console uses one source-control provider for repository operations. If
both GitHub and GitLab are connected, Agent Console uses GitLab.
The list reflects the repositories currently available through the connected provider. Change access in GitHub or GitLab, then return to Sidecar to refresh the list.
An agent's Scope lists repositories currently available from source control.
When you create a custom job, an empty Repositories selection means all accessible repositories. Sidecar resolves that list again when the job runs, so newly connected repositories join the scope automatically. For a narrower and more predictable job, select only the repositories it needs. See Configure a job.Custodian uses a separate upstream subscription in addition to the standard GitHub integration. Follow the Custodian recipe for that workflow.
